The story

A prince raised in Limbo

Areg, Lord of Magma, ruled with fire, until his love for Lousine of the Ice Kingdom brought peace to the five kingdoms. It did not last. Prince Boran poisoned the king and seized every throne.

Areg's newborn son was carried to Limbo by the loyal advisor Vardazar, the one place Boran could not reach. That child was Ashes. Now Ashes returns.

The game

Real Xiangqi, with a campaign on top

Every battle is played on a real Xiangqi board, with the rules that make it one of the oldest strategy games in the world. On top of that sit the tools of a campaign.

Raise your army mid-battle

Spend Kamq, your energy, to bring new pieces onto the board, and earn it back with every move. Each battle has a purpose: hold back a rush of soldiers, protect your Mogs, or hunt one enemy commander.

II · World

A dragon-shaped world

Cross five kingdoms, Cloud, Rain, Sand, Magma and Ice. Each holds three battles, three bonus levels and a boss.

III · Karma

Bend fate at the Karma table

Before a battle, Jakat, the God of Karma, offers powers that change the board: a tree trunk that blocks a square, a snake chain that pins a piece, a mist that hides your army.

IV · Bosses

Face the lords of the Fog

Each kingdom ends with a lord who plays by their own rules. New to Xiangqi? The first battles teach every piece as you play. Available in English, Chinese, German, Spanish, French and Italian.
